    Stratford District Council Archive Recordings
    David Walter, former Mayor of Stratford, Chairman of the Taranaki Regional Council and local historian was appointed Stratford County Historian in 1975. This collection contains interviews from people living in the Douglas area and the wider Stratford District Council region.
    A collection of twelve MP3 formatted CD-ROM (compact disc read-only-memory) of interviews conducted since 1975 by David Walter of interviews with individuals in the Stratford District. Also included are a number of Douglas residents interviewed for the Douglas School jubilee in 1981.
    The original tapes and copies are held by the Stratford District Council Archives and copies are made available to Puke Ariki by the Copyright holder, David Walter and the Stratford District Council.
